With the cold weather upon us and the first snow of the season, please make sure your children have the proper clothes for recess!  They need jackets, hats, gloves, snow pants and boots!! Scarves are optional! We go out every day that the temperature is above 20 degrees and windchill in double digits.  Snow does not deter us; in fact we love it!!

Tuesday, November 24 is GRANDPARENTS DAY.  On Tuesday, all grandparents and special friends of Roycemore students are invited to a breakfast with their grandchildren and a special program in the Multi-Purpose Room.  The program will begin around 8:45 with all of our Lower School students performing along with the Middle and Upper School choruses.  The morning will conclude with activities in the classrooms.  It is always a wonderful morning!!

This is a full day of school for all students, the last before the long Thanksgiving holiday. EDP and Martial Arts will be as usual. There is no school on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, November 25-27.  EDP is NOT available.  Regular classes will resume on Monday, November 30.

Children in Grades 1-4 should wear dark pants (black preferred) and light tops (white preferred) for both Grandparents Day and Winter Program.  Please no blue
jeans.  Thank you!!!

PUT THURSDAY, DECEMBER 10 ON YOUR CALENDAR!  IT IS WINTER PROGRAM!
All children in Grades 1-4 will be participating in singing.  The Third and Fourth Graders will join the Middle and Upper School in dance-tumbling.  It is always a wonderful show and a great Roycemore tradition.  We hope to see you all there.

HOUR OF CODE FAMILY CELEBRATION FRIDAY, DECEMBER 11
The Hour of Code is a week-long, global effort to get kids to learn about computer programming, an essential 21st Century skill.  This year Hour of Code Week is December 7-13.  Just like last year, Roycemore will participate in a few ways.  Most of our students, in all grade levels, will complete coding lessons during class throughout the week.  The week will end with our 2nd annual Family Coding Celebration.  This fun family event will take place Friday, December 11, from 3:15-5:15 pm in the MPR.  For more information or to RSVP for the Celebration, please visit  roycemorehourofcode.weebly.com/.

2. TOYS-FOR TOTS COLLECTION MONDAY 11/3O THROUGH FRIDAY 12/11
