Congratulations to all the students who participated in the First Annual Roycemore Cross Country Meet.  It was wonderful to see everyone there and having a great time.
See more pictures below!

Alderman Donald Wilson visited the fourth grade on Wednesday to discuss Evanston government.  It was wonderful to be there and listen to the intelligent questions the students asked him.  Everyone learned so much.

Also Dr. JI-Yeon Yuh (Youngnim Choi Gr. 4, Hahrim Choi Gr. 9, and Baikleem Choi Gr. 12) spoke to the fourth grade of the indigenous people that were in our area before the Europeans came.

Thank you to both, who so enriched our students.

LEADERSHIP WEEK this year was based on the Seven Habits and was wonderful.  The children were engaged in many activities that showed them how to be leaders and that leaders are valued at Roycemore.  We ended the week, helping our school by cleaning and picking up trash.  The last habit is called Sharpen the Saw, which emphasizes healthy bodies, so we celebrated by enjoying a wonderful healthy fruit salad.
See many more pictures at the bottom of the blog.
